Although this site started in 2000, we starting collecting old blotter sheets back in 1993.
Since then we have been able to get our hands on some rare sheets. Of few of those we have made
available to you. By vintage blotter art, we mean sheets that either circulated dipped, and ones
that are pre-2000. You might want to take a peak over at Mark McCloud's site
BlotterBarn.com for some amazing poster prints of some of
the rarest sheets in the world.
Re-prints of Vintage Blotter Art
We are slowing selling out of our re-prints of old vintage designs. Many of the vintage designs which we have re-produced in the past originated from Mark McCloud's collection, such as the Felix, Sunshine, Strawberries etc. This will not effect the sheets which we obtain direct from Mark McCloud, such as the Alice, Mad Hatter, etc which will be continued.
Certain websties are re-producing old designs and advertising them as original vintage sheets. To keep the original vintage sheets collectable and to stop other collectors being deceived is the reason for this action. If you are in doubt and want any advice before buying a rare signed of vintage sheet off the internet, please feel free to ask for advice here. We have a good knowledge of most of the blotter art that is about and can always seeek any further advice from Mark McCloud, Zane Kesey among a few of our contacts.

Mark McCloud
over 30 years ago. Today he has over 400 framed prints and thousands of unframed sheets. If you or

love collecting LSD Blotter Acid Artwork.
Interested in having your artwork appear on cool sheets of perforated paper?
We can help make your dreams come true! We have published artwork for more than 75 artists, including
BlotterArt for
HR Giger,
Frank Kozik
and Stanley Mouse.
We have also produced prints for influential individuals such as
Peter Fonda
and Howard Marks to sign. Proceeds from the sales of these signed
sheets were donated to charity.
This artistic genre spans back more than 30 years. At Mindstates 2003, collector and historian Mark McCloud
recalled how innerspace extraordinaire, Terrence McKenna, told him that the first dose of LSD he saw on
blotting paper was around 1972. This coincides with the findings of PharmChem, a San Francisco based drug
testing facility that tested thousands of LSD samples in the late 1960s through the 1970s. The first notes
of LSD being soaked into paper where around 1972. It is estimated that 90-95% of the blottersheets
appearing for sale on the internet today where never intended to distribute an illegal substance. These
sheets were created as an expression of one's artistic abilities on the hippest of mediums.
